Arabic:

وَاِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلٰٓئِكَةِ اِنِّيْ جَاعِلٌ فِي الْاَرْضِ خَلِيْفَةً...

English Translation:

“Remember when your Lord said to the angels, ‘I am going to place a khalifah (successor) on earth.’ They said, ‘Will You place someone who will cause corruption and shed blood, while we glorify Your praises and sanctify You?’ He said, ‘Indeed, I know that which you do not know.’” (Qur’an 2:30)

This verse reminds us that Allah (SWT) created mankind as His representative (Khalifah) on earth, with responsibilities to worship Him, establish justice, and avoid corruption. 🌸

“পৃথিবীর সবকিছু তিনি তোমাদের জন্য সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তারপর তিনি আকাশের দিকে মনোসংযোগ করেন এবং তা সপ্তাকাশে বিন্যস্ত করেন, তিনি সকল বিষয়ে বিশেষভাবে অবহিত।”

(QS. Al-Baqarah 2: Verse 29)

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيٖۤ اَنْ يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوْضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۗ فَاَ مَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا فَيَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّهُ الْحَـقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۚ وَاَ مَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَا ذَاۤ اَرَا دَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلًا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهٖ كَثِيْرًا وَّيَهْدِيْ بِهٖ كَثِيْرًا ۗ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهٖۤ اِلَّا الْفٰسِقِيْنَ

বাংলা অনুবাদ:

“নিশ্চয় আল্লাহতো মশা অথবা তার চেয়েও ক্ষুদ্র কোন বস্তুর উদাহরণ দিতে লজ্জাবোধ করেন না; অতএব যারা ঈমানদার তারা জানে যে, এ সত্য তাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট থেকে এসেছে, কিন্তু যারা অবিশ্বাসী তারা বলে যে, আল্লাহ কী উদ্দেশ্যে এ উদাহরণ পেশ করেছেন? (আসল ব্যাপার হল) তিনি এর দ্বারা অনেককেই বিভ্রান্ত করেন, আবার অনেককেই সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। বস্তুতঃ তিনি ফাসিকদের ছাড়া আর কাউকেও বিভ্রান্ত করেন না।”

(সূরা আল-বাকারাহ ২: আয়াত ২৬)

English Translation:

“Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example – that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. As for those who have believed – they know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve – they say, ‘What did Allah intend by this as an example?’ He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient.”

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:26)

“[He] who made for you the earth a bed and the sky a canopy, and sent down from the sky rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].”

"বিদ্যুৎচমক তাদের দৃষ্টিশক্তি প্রায় কেড়ে নেয়, যখনই বিদ্যুৎচমক তাদের সামনে প্রকাশিত হয়, তখনই তারা পথ চলতে থাকে এবং যখন তাদের উপর অন্ধকার ছেয়ে যায়, তখন তারা থমকে দাঁড়ায়। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছে করলে তাদের শ্রবণ ও দৃষ্টি শক্তি হরণ করতে পারতেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সকল বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।"

“তাদের উদাহরণ, যেমন এক ব্যক্তি আগুন জ্বালালো, তা যখন তার চারদিক আলোকিত করল, আল্লাহ তখন তাদের জ্যোতি অপসারণ করে দিলেন এবং তাদেরকে এমন ঘন অন্ধকারে ফেলে দিলেন যে, তারা কিছুই দেখতে পায় না।”

“Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness so they could not see.”

“True faith is consistent—no matter who’s watching.”

📖 Qur’anic Verse (Arabic):

وَإِذَا لَقُوا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا ۖ وَإِذَا خَلَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ شَيَـٰطِينِهِمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُونَ

[Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 14]

In this powerful verse from the Qur'an, Allah ﷻ exposes the hypocrisy of those who pretend to believe in front of the believers, but in private, they mock and betray them. As Allah says:

> “When they meet those who believe, they say, ‘We believe.’ But when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, ‘Indeed, we are with you; we were only mocking.”

Deception Against Allah – Surah Al-Baqarah 2:9 Meaning

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Holy Qur’an:

يُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَا لَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا  ۚ وَمَا يَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ

(QS. Al-Baqarah 2: Verse 9)

“They try to deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive none except themselves, yet they do not realize.”

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَمِنَ النَّا سِ مَنْ يَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِا للّٰهِ وَبِا لْيَوْمِ الْاٰ خِرِ وَمَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

“মানুষের মধ্যে এমন লোক আছে যারা বলে, ‘আমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং আখেরাতের দিনের প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি’ কিন্তু প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারা মু’মিন নয়।”

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Holy Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:7):

The Disbelievers Will Not Believe | Al-Baqarah 2:6

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala says in the Holy Qur’an:

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ

“Indeed, those who disbelieve – it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:6)

This verse reminds us that guidance is only from Allah. No matter how much warning is given, the hearts sealed by disbelief will not accept faith. It is a powerful lesson for believers to stay steadfast on Iman and seek Allah’s guidance 

Guidance from Allah – The Successful Ones | Al-Baqarah 2:5

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Holy Qur’an:

اُولٰٓئِكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۙ وَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ

"They are upon guidance from their Lord, and it is they who will be successful." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:5)

This verse teaches us that true success is not measured by wealth, power, or worldly achievements, but by living according to the guidance of Allah. Those who accept faith, follow the Qur’an, and remain steadfast on the path of righteousness will achieve real success in this world and eternal success in the Hereafter.
